y My sound installations began with an interest in bringing together music, dadaism, art povera, physical phenomenon and synesthesia. There is an unpredictable and time-based nature to my work, sited within performance as much as sculpture. Using particular acoustical spaces and reworked everyday objects, the results manifest experiences of 'seeing what one hears'. The installations create domestic instrumental machines exploring and amplifying auditory-visual phenomenon and sensations... The elements water, metal and electricity in various forms run through the body of the work.
